Jo Malone x Thomas McBrien Architects

Rory has worked on a number of architecture photography projects (that Architecture degree still comes in useful!) and this month was asked to document quite possibly the most unique project we’ve seen.

In collaboration with Zack Mclaughlin of Paper & Wood, Thomas McBrien Architects designed and created a handmade window display from over 100,000 delicate paper elements in the theme of a secret garden, for the RIBA Regent Street Windows 2018 competition.

The project celebrates the quintessential British garden and offers a moment of escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, aiming to capture and heighten the immersive experience offered.

Congratulations to Thomas McBrien Architects for winning the People’s Choice Award!
