Making Moves!

I re-launched Studio Rogue under its new brand back in 2018 when I took on its current space in South East London, and as we enter 2025 and a fast-approaching big change for the studio, I’ve been reflecting back on the past 6 years.

I’ve always loved the variety in the studio’s work: we’ve always worked with both smaller brands and premium/luxury brands which creates variety in production scale, and the 70 or so clients we work with means that I could be shooting beauty products, lingerie, swimwear, hair campaigns, footwear, mens’ tailoring, model book updates, beer, or a watch campaign requiring two security guards on set and an armoured truck outside. In fact, we’ve completed close to a thousand shoots since I opened the studio here.

6 years has seen a huge amount of growth in the studio and the type of work we do, but the space itself has remained constant. I’ve always placed a huge importance on creating a warm studio atmosphere where we balance productivity and calm, so the studio itself, and the amazing team I choose to work with, has played a vital role in that.

The time has now come to move to a new and even better space. From February, Studio Rogue will be opening in its amazing new location in Oval with incredible travel connections, a vast amount of amenities on site, and of course still with its characteristic high ceilings and large windows.
