It’s official…we are ROGUE

To accompany our move, we felt it was time to refresh the studio image. We’re already settling in to the new location and we love it - 1,200 sq ft over two floors, full daylight or blackout, great coffee pretty much on tap and just plain good vibes (you can even follow our playlist on Spotify).

With a new location, it was the right time for a rebrand; RGLDN studio was a mouthful, even if you could remember the order of the letters. So it’s official… we are ROGUE.

We will still be providing the same services: on the creative side, we shoot fashion campaigns, look books, still-life/lifestyle photography, social media and digital content, and advertising campaigns. On the E-commerce photography side, we shoot invisible mannequin (ghost) photography, model product photography, styled flat product shots and table top photography.

We have always provided a full production service to our clients; that is to say we fulfil end-to-end requirements whether we’re shooting a simple e-commerce product photoshoot or shooting a large campaign abroad with many moving parts.

So, where did ROGUE come from? At a basic level, it basically comes from the letters of our director’s name, Rory Gullan. Simple. But it also came from standing alone from the norms with the way shoots are produced in both e-commerce photography and campaign work. Rory minimises the moving parts when it comes to shoot production, and particularly with our product photography, the rules don’t apply, because we believe we set ourselves apart in the way we do things. That means simpler booking processes, streamlined workflow, quicker turnaround, and none of this at the cost of quality.

After leading multiple studio across Europe, and setting in place new standards across this group, Rory opened his original studio - RGLDN studio - in 2014. Working with clients from start-up brands to high-end fashion houses, Rory has always provided the resources of a full production studio, with the attention and personal touch of a single photographer.

Today, here we are: Studio Rogue. Bigger studio, larger team, but still the same attention to detail. We may be ROGUE by name, but we prioritise efficient and consistent processes which have been created and tested in-house by Rory Gullan.

So we play by the rules. Just, our own rules.
